Paying means agreeing to the terms. All sales final: no refunds, no expiry. Your bid stands until somebody pays more.

If somebody pays more while you are paying, your money lands at whatever rank it reaches and is not returned.

The card is entered on a page Polar hosts and never reaches this site. Polar is the merchant of record, so the charge reaches your statement under Polar's name rather than ours.
